I wish my skin with it. Better than Ponds. Dr.Hoffman wrote this book on the Hunza people. He totally disagrees with the use of oil, no matter what kind it is. I personally believe in eating coconuts certified organic, or eating organic olives. I dont’ believe in drinking juice unless you rub the fruit in your hands over spring water, or throwing raw fruit in water. Hunza people live till 130 years. This book was the best book ever. Not commericalized at all.

My bad cholesterol levels had always been normal according to the blood checks at my annual check-ups. I started taking 2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil daily for 6 months without changing anything else in my diet because of all the internet hype. I had another blood test after this 6 month period and my bad cholesterol sky-rocketed!! I was using Spectrum brand virgin coconut oil from Whole Foods. Am I doing something wrong??

I bought an excellent huge jar of Raw Certified organic. cold pressed, non GMO from wholefoods and it is excellent!!!…I’ve replaced butter with it and use it on my toast…yummy! I’ve been using it on my skin for a year and have seen big differences…its amazing and its something they’ve been hiding from us..
